Accueil très agréable, personnel toujours serviable et souriant, cadre plein de charme, petit déj au top et chambres agréables. Vraiment cet hotel, à deux stations de métro du centre, est un meilleur choix que les immenses machins de 200 chambres de centre ville, qui sont plus chers.

L'hotel a beaucoup de charme.Ca change des chaines classiques américaines.Très bien situé:la station de métro est juste à coté.Petit déjeuner très bon.

Quel endroit charmant! Je n'ai aucun commentaire négatif à leur endroit. L'endroit est impeccable, les chambres spacieuses et hyper propres, le personnel courtois et attentionné, les déjeuners absolument délicieux et copieux et le tout dans un endroit tranquille et bien situé. La station de métro juste en face nous permet d'être au centre de Boston en 5 minutes et dans l'autre direction à Harvard en 5 minutes également. Et le prix est tout à fait raisonnable comparativement au centre-ville de Boston. Je recommande fortement.

I stay at the Kendall Hotel every time I travel to Boston for work and personal visits. They provide great value through their numerous amenities and convenient location close to the T. The breakfast is filling and tasty, and the service while not overly friendly is consistently attentive. I particularly enjoy their country-style decor and rooms.

This hotel is gorgeous and so comfortable with a really good price for the area! We fell in love with it instantly and immediately booked an extra night.

Got an excellent deal on a 1 night stay and didn't want to leave; very charming and unique hotel unexpected at this price point. Stayed for an event at fenway park which is a quick ride from the hotel. Room was nicely detailed and extremely comfortable. Rooftop atrium/lounge an interesting and well designed touch. Very clean, warm, and inviting; highly recommend staying here.

I am so glad that we found this hotel. It was close to the "T" station, the staff was super friendly and helpful and the breakfast was amazing. Everything was clean and neat and the decor was wonderful. It's a restored Fire Station and the theme was carried out tastefully. The rooms were very nice and very comfortable. There is parking underneath the hotel, which was very convenient Loved it - and would recommend it to anyone.

This was Harvard commencement week so of course the prices were jacked up. But what I paid for a king-bed room at this hotel was way too much to pay for a hotel that, while comfortable, doesn't really deliver the level of service that that rate level would require. No assistance at arrival. No help with bags. Surly check-in counter lady. Inefficient check-in. (Why do they make the check-in agent answer phone calls?????). Noisy breakfast - why do they vacuum at breakfast time???? Breakfast should be a time of peace! Boutique hotels have to understand that you can't just slap a deluxe price on a quaint property - you have to deliver a high level of service to go with the high price. While it was a good stay, I still felt like I had been brought to the cleaners because of the high demand.

This hotel is worth a stay. Beautifully decorated and beautiful rooms. However, I was on the second floor and it was noisy early mornings. I visited on a weekend. The housekeeping staff added to the noise with very noisy chatter from very early in the mornings. I will stay here again but will ask for a room on a different level (higher) or take earplugs. Overall I still enjoyed this hotel.

The Kendall Hotel was very convenient to Boston with the T stop across the street. Great price, room, and breakfast. Room was a little cold, but we also stayed there for 3 bitterly cold days. Even had wine tasting in the evening! Had no problem parking below the building as we got in in the afternoon and left the car there the whole time. Did have a hard time finding the hotel when we came from Somerville address, but that was due to the crazy naming and direction of Boston's streets.

A Boutique type of hotel conveniently located to the subway into Boston. Great home cooked breakfast. Cute room decor using firehouse theme. Great value for the city!

Clean, comfortable and well affordable when staying in Cambridge. Steps from the T entrance and walking distance to all of MIT. Limited parking, which we were lucky enough to get - although pay parking across the street. Good buffet breakfast - not "Continental aka donuts & bagels, but eggs, pancakes, fruit, juices coffee, tea, bacon, etc. Tiny restaurant inside the hotel - we didn't go there, because of all the other restaurants within walking distance. Excellent location for us and excellent experience-- will go again.

Stayed on a Saturday night. Got there prior to check in and hotel allowed us to park prior to that. Check-in easy, room was exactly what we ordered. Beds great (and i'm picky) and room very clean. They had a brunch on Sunday AM that was really a nice surprise and the food and coffee were great. Only one minor discrepancy and that was the room was "hot" and the A/C was either not set or the valve stuck open. So we shut off the heat/AC and opened the window. November weather was just right. I'd stay again.

We were in town looking at colleges. The Kendall Hotel was a very comfortable end to a hectic day. The staff were very helpfull and the room was great!! Great bang for the buck.

The hotel location was perfect - steps from the T line and the decor was very interesting. Our room was very small but functional. The biggest problem was the bed. At 5'1" it was very difficult for me to get in and out of the bed due to the height of the mattress. Also, the room was located in the old fire house portion which meant that every time a T train approached or left the station the entire room rumbled and the outside noise was fairly loud - we were on the 3rd floor. The 'firehouse' breakfast was good but the dining area carpet was very stained giving the appearance that the room was not clean. Overall for the special price it was not bad but I would not consider staying there again, especially for the regular room rate.

The only negative things I would have to say is that 1. the air conditioning was shut off for the season (we were there October 23-25) so our room felt like a sauna. We had to open the windows and turn on the celing fan. Also another negative was that I had a lot of luggage and there is no bellman or even a luggage cart to help. The front desk lady did not offer to help with my luggage either. Other than that- our room was spotless, comfortable bed, right next door to a subway station, and the breakfast was delish. I would stay here again. It is right over the bridge from downtown Boston, and we saved money to be able to go and have great dinners by not staying downtown.

The Kendall was a very nice alternative to the large,chain hotels. Quaint, clean, comfortable, convenient, and accomodating. Excellent breakfast and reasonably good dinner. We would stay at the Kendall again.

I enjoyed my stay at this Hotel. Very close to the subway. Legal Seafood is across the street. The food at the Hotel is also very delicious. You are next to M.I.T. I plan to stay again in the future.

This place exceeded my expectations enormously. For the price I paid I never would have expected such superior service and lavish accommodations. I was attending a conference at MIT and staying in such a wonderful room just a couple of blocks away insured that I was bright-eyed and bushy-tailed each morning. Obviously, highly recommended.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel. The ambiance is very 'Boston'and has a 'Colonial' feel to it. The staff is extremely courteous, helpful and makes each individual feel welcome. The 'breakfast' is well worth it-I chose to sit outside in the delightful courtyard. The dinner was excellent. It's a great location and I walked over the bridge into the city. The parking is a little scarey-you are best off in a tiny car with a powerful engine. Actually, I'd be happy to live there!

I liked the hotel a lot. It is a converted fire station. Buffet breakfast is good and the location is good if you are visiting MIT. Parking is very convenient in the basement of the hotel. One complaint is the condition of the rug in my room and the lobby. They are old and bit dingy.

Affordable hotel just outside of Boston, one block from mass transit and you're in Boston. One complaint is that the alternate on-site parking has GIGANTIC puddles, watch where you step when it rains!

Truly a superlative property...great service, comfortable and stylish rooms...free breakfast and parking...only negative is location...nice area but nothing much of interest within walking distance...countered by fact half block from T station...enthusiastically recommend

This hotel is one of the best ones I ever stay. The staff was super friendly, there was free breakfast (very complete) with free parking (although small some reviewers have exagerated -- I was able to park my 2007 Honda CR-V with no problems). The rooms are very nice, clean and the decor is faboulous. The Red Line subway is literally next door and it takes to Boston in 5 minutes. The hotel is also in a very nice area right next door to MIT.

This hotel was great loved the old fire house them the staff were excellent they took pride in their work and were very friendly and helpful. We liked it so much we made reservations for next month. Parking underground was limited and tight no over size vehicles will fit.

The location was very easy to get to by T. Meeting at MIT was right across the street. Breakfast with hot items of scrambled eggs, bacon, French toast included with room rate was excellent value. The room on the top floor has low ceiling but was otherwise in good conditions.

Smallish rooms but breakfast included and FREE parking make this a pretty good deal.

I would recommend this hotel to ANYONE. I have stayed here before and it was lovely. The service is amazing and the staff is always friendly. Not to mention that the breakfast is always delicious. Going to Boston? Stay here!

I like the convenience of the location in general. Easy access to many stores and eating places. Staff were very nice. Room was clean. It's a home-like hotel.

parking is limited and getting into the basement garage takes skills. If you drive a large car, van, suv don't attempt to park there. My care almost got scratch trying to get back up the ramp. The rest of my stay I used the garage across the street at $23 dollars a night.

I was traveling alone with my daughter looking at colleges. We both felt well cared for and right at home. The breakfast was wonderful. The proximity to the T was wonderful, we never had to get a taxi or rent a car. It was the perfect place for us.
