Treasure Bay Hotel & Marina

Everything about this hotel was wonderful. The staff was extremely helpful in answering questions and went out of their way to help in anyway they could. I will definitely reccomend this hotel to anyone staying in the area and will be back myself!

At check-in I was very pleased. The lobby was nicely decorated and the staff was very friendly. We stayed on the bay side overlooking the marina. When entering the room I was again very pleased. Nicely decorated, granite countertops, nice tv. Unfortunately the bedding was not satisfactory at all. There were spots on the bedspread that looked like blood, the pillows were small, and the sheets were not very comfortable. The other major factor that impacted our impression was the hot tub. We were anxious to relax the next morning in the hot tub only to find an Out of Order sign posted. The hot tub is a major factor in where we chose to stay so we were totally unhappy at that point.

We were very happy when we checked in and the room was clean. The comforter was not so clean but we did have fresh towels everyday and so close to the beach. Staff was nice. Would stay again for the price.

This was a great hotel. My wife and I enjoyed the amenities (workout room, continental breakfast, pool, beach). The location is awesome. We also really enjoyed Wahoo's on the Island - great place to eat fish for a reasonable price.

Hotel is situated right betweem Golf of mexico which can be seen from rooftop, and the bay. We had a room with view to the bay, and that is very good, so that you don´t get the noice from the swimmingpool area or the road. Really nice rooms in fair size, and clean. If you go to treasure island, this is very good and nice to find and close to the others island, and not far from city and the Dali museum. Weekends er busy times there.

Great location with lots of recent renovations that make the place up to date. We were dissapoonted with the cleanliness of the sheets-they were ripped and worn out. The bed upon check in looked like it was made half fast... not very appealing.

The location was great, the weather was great, and upon check-in the staff on that afternoon was awesome! I must say the Fri & Sat Happy Hour was a bonus! We've already recommended the hotel to friends and plan to stay again in the future.. The only negative comment we have are the beds and the cleaniness of the room...The beds needs replacing and the housekeepers need to make sure the bathroom floors are cleaned properly(swept &mopped) and if the sheets aren't changed, at least tighten the sheets when they make the beds.. Other than that the housekeepers were friendly as well.

Good location, clean, amenities, friendly staff, I will recommend to others.

This is the 2nd year in a row that we have stayed at this hotel. We were very satisfied with the room and its cleanliness. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The Gulf was just across the street with restaurants close by. The wife enjoyed the view from the balcony. Will probably return next year to the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of traveling to the Clearwater / St Petersburg area.

Check In went well. Room was available even though I arrived early. Stayed on the Gulf side on the second floor. View of beach was limited due to trees-would recommend third floor if on the Gulf side. But, the location across the street from the beach was very good. The public computer in the lobby was also very handy. Housekeeping could improve. Vacuum was hardly used. Coffee stains on the bedspread. And, only one or two towels each day were provided even though four were needed. And, one day, we saw two maids eating popcorn and watching tv in the room across of mine. The hotel does not enforce their rules. Their was a dog in a room on my floor even though I was told no pets were allowed... On Friday and Saturday, a large group checked in and brought a grille to the pool and had cookouts for the two days. Needless to say, the small pool was overtaken and we were unable to use it. Finally, even though it would be difficult, I wish the hotel monitored the breakfast pastries/muffins every morning. They indicate the free food is available starting at 8 AM but I noticed most of the food is gone by 6:30 AM

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel! We had a nice view of the bay and the room was very nice. If I had to list something bad about the room, I would ask for nicer toilet paper. Also, we ran out of soap and had to get some from the desk late at night. The beach was just across the street and not crowded! We also enjoyed the hotel happy hour!

Remodel is well done. Amenities are fine. We were happy with the choice.

The hotel staff were very friendly and everything was extremely clean. The hotel is in walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the beach directly across the street. The view of the gulf of mexico was not blocked and there was also a view of the bay on the backside. Highly recomend this hotel.

Great job with the happy hour on the weekends. Far walk to the water but a good place to stay if you dont have little ones. Great staff.

Here's the deal, with a relatively low daily rate our expectations were not extremely high for our stay here, just a bed really, but we were pleasantly surprised! Our service from the front desk staff was excellent thus we were impressed in the first five minutes of our stay. When we made it to our room, we were again pleasantly surprised by the level of appointment, the size and how clean and new the room appeared. We've stayed in rooms that cost nearly double this but which could not touch it's quality. Sure, some will say it wasn't on the beach, no it wasn't, it was across the road from the beach. The extra 50 feet walk didn't bother us at all. The bonus of this location was having a rather nice view of the marina from the deck of our room, nice place to wind down at night with a glass of wine!

Our room was gorgeous. Cherrywood cabinetry not usually found in hotel room. The beach was very assessible by crossing the street. Very relaxing three days. Definatly stay again.

We enjoyed the Treasure Bay Hotel very much. The room was great, overlooking the marina. The beach is directly across the street. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. Treasure Island is a very quaint beach town with mom and pop hotels and restaurants.

Have stayed here on many occasions when visiting the area. The staff of the hotel are great. Very happy with them and the comfort of the rooms. Only negative this time was that alot of people staying there brought their dogs with them. While this hotel says it allows no animals it seems like they are bending on it. While it would be good for me seeing as I have a dog, I just do not agree with allowing dogs to stay there. Sooner or later you know what will happen with dogs locked in a room for hours. Kind of disgusting. Other then that a very good place to stay.

Well situated on Treasure Island with views across the broad sands to the gulf or the bayou to the rear. This is cloe to but away from the night life of other large hotels.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the St. Petes Beach area in Florida! The hotel and the rooms are very nice, but it is the staff at the hotel that will make your stay more enjoyable. They are very knowledgable of the area and the attractions that are worth going to see. The staff are very friendly and make you immediately feel like you are one of the family!

We were very happy with our stay. Went to a Wedding in Tampa and took in some beach while we were there. Nice Beach, warm water. The staff was excellent, rooms were clean. Would stay there again.

Room price was reasonable and the hotel did not disappoint us. Convenient parking and easy check in and out. Room was clean and comfortable and an overall good experience. Location was near restaurants and a short walk to the broad beach of St. Petersburg. Very nice staff and good guest relations. Nice afternoon happy hour on the roof top tiki bar..

OUTSTANDING, WE HAD A ROOM NEXT TO THE POOL, GREAT FOR THE KIDS. THEY ALLOWED PETS WITH NO QUESTIONS ASKED. WE WILL STAY HERE AGAIN!!

Nice hotel, rooms were updated. Stayed 7 days. Small bar fridge with freezer, microwave, Iron and board, coffee maker, hair dryer. No in-room safe. Comfortable beds, 3 pillows on each bed. I think the best rooms are on the maria side. Small balcony overlooking the water and boat slips. Relaxed every day on the balcony watching the pelicans, ducks and boats passing by. Very quite on 3rd floor, end of hall away from the elevator. 2nd floor has an outdoor balcony with tables and chairs. Refreshments offer daily by the hotel. Recommend having ice cream at the little shop beside the hotel. Also recommend Middle Grill for excellent food. Across the street was a nice cafe at the Thunderbird, good food. Other eating locations within walking distance were McDonalds, Britts Pizza. Do not recommend Waffle House - found it dirty and food mediocre. Only ate the once. If you want to shop at Walmart, Target, Bealls, it is quite a distance. Taxis were our only means of transportation and the cost added up. We didn't rent a car but maybe should have. If you only wanted to relax and travel the main highway, there is a trolley for $4.00 per day. We travelled to Maderia Beach, St Johns Pass. Lots of local shops and restaurants there. Recommend Bubba Gumps to eat. The St Petersburg Beach was across the highway, very close. Very extensive beach front, quiet a walk to the water. Could rent cabanas and lounge chairs for $5 per hour. Recommend doing that. First day purchased chairs at Walgreens for twenty dollars each and feel wasted our money as we rented the loungers after that so we didn't have to drag out chairs to the beach. Excellent hotel for the price, clean, friendly staff, good location, nice restaurants next door. Flew into Tampa and hired a car service. Approx 45 minutes to the hotel. Hotel recommended a car service that worked out great.

The checkin process was quick. Friday and Saturday evenings 4-6 free drinks and snacks on the second floor rooftop. Was nice beer, wine and soda. Morning 8-10 in the same area the had coffee and pastries. The rooms were very nice. (up-to-date)

The rooms have all been refurbished, the beds were totally comfortable. Within walking distance to restaurants, stores, ect. The beach is right across the street which you can see beautifully from your balcony. Everything was excellent for the price and we will definately stay there again!

Great hotel< I would stay here again. Outstanding in everyway.
